The White Hall Performing Arts Center was designed as an addition to the current White Hall High School campus. The building contains band and choral rehearsal space and a performance hall that seats 1,233.
The overall design motive was to create a point of convergence and provide a shared lobby for the existing arena, and the new fully-functional performing arts theater.
The existing site conditions located the public parking at the north end of the site while the performance hall, existing arena and high school entries are positioned at the south end of the site. The design team made use of lighting, wall and floor patterning to direct patrons to the shared lobby space.
