Chairman Emeritus and founding partner of Jackson Brown Palculict, Brooks is an asset to the firm as a resource of knowledge and experience. He received his arts and sciences and architecture degree from the University of Arkansas in 1968. He is the founder of the Firefighters’ Foundation of Little Rock, and serves on several civic organization boards.

As of the founder of the firm in 1983, Brooks built the foundation and established the principles on which the firm operates today. Currently, he is serving his second term as the President of the Arkansas State Board of Architects, Landscape Architects & Interior Designers. He is heavily involved in his community, founding and serving on the board of multiple non-profit and professional organization, and has tirelessly given his personal time and services back to that same community that raised him.

Brooks is an avid outdoorsman, and has been featured on the Outdoor Network for duck calling, and has also achieved two “World Slams,” having harvested a bird from all of the subspecies of turkey. He coaches the youth trap shooting team in Stuttgart, and spends his time after retiring with his grandchildren, especially loving to attend their sporting events.
